TAO staking fees: what you pay, and to whom
Four items come up when you stake TAO with Stakao. Only the first one is paid to Stakao, and it is a flat price.
Stakao
A flat price for each plan, shown above. Stakao never takes a cut of your staking rewards.
Validators
Each validator sets its own commission on the rewards it earns. Stakao does not take part of it.
Bittensor network
Your wallet pays the network fee on each staking transaction. Stakao takes no cut of it.
Staking permission
The chain reserves a 0.126 TAO deposit on your wallet for as long as the staking-only permission exists. It is not a fee: it comes back when you revoke the permission.
